  • Maayan Nidam is launching a label called Hellium. The imprint will highlight "obscure techno and ambient," Nidam says, with its first release coming next month: the four-track Afrodite EP from Hubble. Hellium is also the title of Nidam's new residency at Tresor, where she will focus on "curating and advancing future sounds in club culture." The first edition took place in January, while the next is April 26th with Nastia, Reeko, Anthony Linell and more. The party will travel to Paris's Concrete and other European clubs, as well. Nidam recently featured in the first edition of our new series, The art of production, in which she talked to Mark Smith about reinventing her sound. Late last year, she released her first LP in six years, Sea Of Thee. Listen to clips of the record.
