DJ Marcelle has revealed details of her debut studio album, One Place For The First Time.
Though the Dutch artist has released numerous mixtapes in the past, this is her first LP featuring solely original productions. Spanning nine tracks, it touches on dub, jazz, techno, drum & bass and more, adopting the playful collage style of her wide-ranging DJ sets. One of the tracks, "She Plays Vinyl," samples the MC during her performance at last year's Nyege Nyege Festival in Uganda.
One Place For The First Time will be available digitally and on vinyl from May 17th through the Munich label Jahmoni, which has released six records by DJ Marcelle since 2016.
