- The San Francisco house head's double-LP comes out in May.
Vin Sol will release his debut album via Dark Entries on May 17th.
Planet Trash follows seven years of EPs for labels like Honey Soundsystem, Unknown To The Unknown, Clone Jack For Daze and his own Soo Wavey Records. It's influenced by "Latin freestyle and classic acid," says Dark Entries, and includes a track with frequent collaborator and fellow (former) Bay Area producer Matrixxman. San Francisco itself was an influence on the album, the label says. Planet Trash's ambient tracks are inspired by the famous Bay Area fog, and his track with Matrixxman is named after local venue Bottom Of The Hill.
Vin Sol featured in Matt McDermott's feature about the shifting landscape of San Francisco's dance music scene.
