- The six-part series—and The Caretaker project as a whole—has come to an end.
Leyland James Kirby is bringing his 20-year project The Caretaker to an end.
Everywhere At The End Of Time Stage 6 is the final release in a series "cataloguing the effects of early-onset dementia," according to the press release, and it's also the last-ever record from The Caretaker, which Kirby launched back in 1999. This sixth volume features four new tracks clocking in at around 90 minutes, which the press release describes as "only the timbral residue remaining like smoke."
Kirby started the Everywhere At The End Of Time series in 2016. As with the previous volumes, number six comes through his label History Always Favours The Winners, which is also putting out a special three-CD set collecting volumes four to six.
