Mr. Tophat has announced his first album, Dusk To Dawn, which will arrive in three installments through his Twilight Enterprise label.
The Swedish producer, real name Rudolf Nordström, says he got the album's first sonic images while living in Ibiza for a month: "The powerful sunsets, the dramatic skies over the Balearic sea, the starlit nights and the beautiful sunrises. They looked like Renaissance paintings by Rubens or Michelangelo."
Dusk To Dawn uses this as inspiration for 25 disco, deep-house and pop-house tracks. Nordström has enlisted recording help from Swedish classical musicians Mats Bergström and Per-Erik Adamsson. Robyn, Axel Boman and Kleerup will also feature on the album.
The album will be released as three parts between May and June.

Twilight Enterprise will release Dusk to Dawn Part I on May 3rd, Dusk to Dawn Part II on May 17th and Dusk to Dawn Part III on June 7th, 2019.
