Italy's Terraforma announces first names for 2019, including Laurie Anderson

- Terraforma has revealed the first names for its 2019 edition, going down from July 5th through 7th at Villa Arconati in Milan. The theme for this year's festival is, broadly, "language," "as both a means and exploration," say organizers. "Words, images, voices, and codes as well as sounds are illustrated to create a direct conversation," reads the press release. Laurie Anderson, an experimental artist known for her vocal-led pieces, has been confirmed, along with composer and producer Micachu, electro head DJ Stingray, techno DJ Bambounou, minimalist composer Caterina Barbieri and the banjo musician Daniel Higgs.
