A-Future, AKA Adam Shelton, launches new label with an EP from Sepehr

EON Records will focus on electro and breaks rather than the tech house sound that many know him for.
Adam Shelton will launch EON Records with a new EP from San Francisco producer Sepehr. The long-time Birmingham scene staple has switched his sound up in the last year or so. Though he and his One Records label have been releasing tech house records since the late 2000s, he's created a new moniker, A-Future, to explore darker, more leftfield breaks and electro. He'll also launch a new label called EON Records later this month, and the first release is a four-track EP from Sepehr called Cybernetic. Last year, Sepehr contributed to a Honey Soundsytem compilation and released an EP of acid tracks for Dark Entries called Body Mechanics. Shelton will celebrate the launch of his new label with a party at London's Pickle Factory on Friday, March 1st.
