Sónar Reykjavík completes 2019 lineup with DAWN, Gas, GusGus's Biggi Veira

  • Sónar Reykjavik has announced the rest of its 2019 lineup. DAWN, who released her latest album last month, is among the artists scheduled to perform at the Icelandic festival's seventh edition. She'll be joined by Wolfgang Voigt's GAS project, the breakthrough London-based rapper Octavian, GusGus's Biggi Veira and the Icelandic dream pop band Vök. The festival's strong emphasis on local talent continues, with performances announced from Flóni, Örvar Smárason, Janus Rasmussen, Logi Pedro, Huginn, Hermigervill, President Bongo and Óttar S., Rokky, Good Moon Deer, Kjartan Holm, Dynkur, Hausar and IDK IDA. They'll all join previously announced acts such as Orbital, Richie Hawtin, Jon Hopkins, Fatima Al Qadiri and Yves Tumor. For the second year running, Resident Advisor will host a stage in the basement car park at Harpa. We'll have the likes of Avalon Emerson, Objekt, Alinka, Milena Glowacka, Kuldaboli and Árni and Bruce, who will play back-to-back. The three-day festival kicks off Thursday, April 25th.
