  • Field Day has announced the initial bill for its 2019 edition, set to go down June 7th and 8th at Meridian Water in London. Skepta tops the bill, and his return to the festival is being billed as a homecoming performance (the grime star grew up in neighbouring Meridian Walk Estate, Tottenham). Elsewhere the lineup flits between rap, R&B, indie rock and dance music, with the likes of Diplo, Deerhunter, Jorja Smith, Modeselektor, Pusha T, The Black Madonna, Todd Terje and Julia Holter sharing the bill. It's Field Day's first time at Meridian Water, and the ten-acre outdoor space is supplemented by four interlinked warehouses, the largest of which holds 7500. This has allowed Field Day to secure a relatively late license, and the warehouses will run until 3 AM, acting as an apt setting for Courtesy, Actress, a live set from Marie Davidson, Mall Grab, HAAi and Seth Troxler, to name a few. Check out the full lineup and pick up tickets in the event listing.
