Deadbeat shares new six-track release in tribute of Waking Life festival

Deadbeat has released a new record in tribute to Waking Life festival. The six-track, 52-minute LP is named for the Portuguese festival, which Deadbeat—real name Scott Monteith—played earlier this year. The third edition goes down next August. In a post announcing Waking Life, he called the event "the greatest festival on the planet currently." The LP is available now on Bandcamp through Monteith's BLKRTZ label, with a wider digital release coming in the next few weeks. A physical edition, in double-LP form, will be available for purchase at Waking Life 2019. Waking Life follows Monteith's latest album, Wax Poetic For Our Great Resolve, released earlier this year, as well as a 7-inch on American dub label ZamZam Sounds. Listen to Waking Life.
