  • Nottingham promoter Wigflex is starting a festival. Scheduled for May 5th, 2019, Wigflex City Festival will go down across various venues in the UK city. DJs include Honey Dijon, Midland, Avalon Emerson, Call Super, Shanti Celeste, Eris Drew, Djrum and Mumdance, who will go back-to-back with DJ Stingray. Three live acts have also been booked: Yazmin Lacey, James Holden & The Animal Spirits and Bufiman, AKA Wolf Müller. More names are still TBA. In addition to the music, there will be a programme of talks, panels, workshops and art installations. More details to come. Wigflex has been running parties in Nottingham since 2006. In 2009, the promoter launched a record label, which has been inactive since 2015.
