  • Steve Spacek's next album will come through Eglo Records in December. Some of the music on Natural Sci-Fi dates back to 2005, just after the release of Steve White's first album under his Steve Spacek alias, Space Shift. The second LP was never finished and languished while White pursued other projects, like Black Pocket, Beat Spacek and Africa Hitech (alongside Mark Pritchard). In the last few years, White returned to Natural Sci-Fi, adding some new material and inviting two vocalists (Oddisee and Natalie Slade) to contribute. London record label Eglo describes the album as "swinging spaciously from past to present, packed with soul, sounding as fresh and relevant today as it did when it began back in 2005." White has released his past few EPs, including last year's Mov Closr, via Eglo, and an album as Beat Spacek on Ninja Tune back in 2015.
