  • Marco Passarani has landed on Offen Music for his latest solo LP, W.O.W. The Italian producer's first full-length in 14 years nods to "proto-house, dystopic electronica, classic Detroit techno and library records alike," says the label. It's the product of a new working method for Passarani, whose previous LP, Sullen Look, came via Peacefrog Records in 2005. He whittled down his analog studio to a portable setup that also worked as the core of his live rig. "W.O.W. is like my zen garden of ideas," Passarani says. "Probably not definitive, and it will never be, 'cause time will bring changes..." Out in January, it's the tenth release on Vladimir Ivkovic's Offen Music, following 2018 LPs from Suba and Geins't Naït / Laurent Petitgand.
