  • Efdemin has a cameo in a new German film called In My Room. Directed by Ulrich Köhler, In My Room premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May and will be released for the first time outside of the festival circuit this Thursday, November 8th, in Germany. The Berlin-based producer, real name Phillip Sollmann, revealed his appearance in the film in a Facebook post today: "Not only is it a fantastic movie, but it has me acting in it like I was a DJ. Isn't that funny?" Sollmann teases that he plays "one of my favourite tracks" by Luke Slater in the club scene, which he says was filmed in Italian venue Atract, even though it "looks like Berlin." Efdemin is not the only DJ to make a cameo in a movie this year. In July, DJ Harvey could be spotted in the latest instalment of the Mission: Impossible series, Fallout.
