  • David Morales has been let go without charge by Japanese authorities. The US artist was arrested on Saturday, October 6th, in Fukuoka airport after customs officials found 0.3g of MDMA in his carry-on luggage. He was forced to cancel multiple gigs, including two in Japan, and faced up to seven years in prison, the maximum penalty for possession of class A substances. However, he is now a free man. "We're delighted to confirm that David Morales has been released without charge," reads a statement from Morales's team. "David is well and has asked that we pass on his love and gratitude to all those who have shown their support. We will not be making any further comment, and request that David and his family's privacy be respected at this time." Listen to Morales's RA Exchange from 2015.
