  • Gideön is putting on another protest rave. After his Soho Radio takeover in July, this Saturday, October 20th, Gideön will once again bring together a host of DJs to protest Brexit—with help from a mobile soundsystem. Meeting in Mayfair, the group will head down to Parliament Square to support the People's Vote march, which is expected to have turnout of 100,000 people. Artwork, A Guy Called Gerald, Dan Beaumont and Howie B are among those already set to play on the DJ-booth-on-wheels, with more DJs still to be announced. In an interview with Resident Advisor ahead of the July demonstration when Donald Trump visited the UK, Gideön said: "It's my life's work to do the 'carrot and stick' thing with parties and protest, to bolt causes onto music and clubbing and underground gay club culture... I want to inspire people to become more politically active. Our world needs us." Watch a clip of Midland leading the charge towards Trafalgar Square in July.
