- A Guy Called Gerald, Artwork and more will be DJing on the mobile soundsystem this Saturday in Central London.
Gideön is putting on another protest rave.
After his Soho Radio takeover in July, this Saturday, October 20th, Gideön will once again bring together a host of DJs to protest Brexit—with help from a mobile soundsystem. Meeting in Mayfair, the group will head down to Parliament Square to support the People's Vote march, which is expected to have turnout of 100,000 people. Artwork, A Guy Called Gerald, Dan Beaumont and Howie B are among those already set to play on the DJ-booth-on-wheels, with more DJs still to be announced.
In an interview with Resident Advisor ahead of the July demonstration when Donald Trump visited the UK, Gideön said: "It's my life's work to do the 'carrot and stick' thing with parties and protest, to bolt causes onto music and clubbing and underground gay club culture... I want to inspire people to become more politically active. Our world needs us."
