- fabric has revealed the trio behind its final mix CD, fabric 100. Longstanding residents Craig Richards and Terry Francis will join cofounder Keith Reilly, who opened the beloved London club with Cameron Leslie in 1999. They'll each contribute separate mixes to the three-disc package. Reilly, an avid record collector, has never contributed to the series, while Richards and Francis return for the fourth and third time respectively. According to the press release, each mix "dives straight into the core of a Saturday night in Room 1." fabric 100 spells the end for the much-loved mix series. Launched in 2001, it became arguably the most revered mix series in house and techno, featuring classic contributions from Ricardo Villalobos, Metro Area, Nina Kraviz and dozens more. The Fabriclive series, which focussed on genres like drum & bass, breaks and dubstep, also launched in 2001.
