- Sync 24's label has detailed three From The Dark compilations, the first of which lands in October.
Cultivated Electronics, the London-based electro label run by Sync 24, has announced plans for a trio of compilations called From The Dark.
The label promises modern electro of a "spookier" sort on From The Dark, which will spread across three vinyl double-packs. Sync 24, who mixed an RA podcast back in March, will appear with a collaborative track on each set, amid a mix of established talent and lesser-known names.
Volume 1, due out next month, leads off with a joint tune from the label boss alongside Alienata, the Spanish DJ, producer and Discos Atónicos head who also had a RA podcast in April. Delta Funktionen, 214, Jensen Interceptor & Assembler Code also appear on that one.
The second and third parts of the series are scheduled for release in November. Besides Sync 24's collaborations with Privacy and Joonam, the contributors include The Exaltics, Maelstrom, VC-118A, Alpha 606 and Morphology.
