  • Bristol label Idle Hands has tapped Peverelist for its landmark 50th release. The UK artist, real name Tom Ford, helped launch Idle Hands in 2009 by authoring its first record, the initially unattributed IDLE001 12-inch. Until IDLE050, he'd only made one more appearance on Chris Farrell's outlet, remixing Strategy in 2013. The milestone record, out September 28th, features a rolling piano jam on the A-side and a bleepy, stripped-down cut on the flip. Idle Hands, a key outlet for bass, techno, house and leftfield sounds from Bristol and beyond, has actually stretched beyond the 50-release mark at this point. Its output in 2018 includes a Christian Jay EP and an O$VMV$M LP, the end of a three-part trilogy from Neek and Amos Childs. Listen to samples of IDLE050.
