Formerly The Nest, the space will launch with sets from Wookie, Danny Rankin and more.
The London club formerly known as The Nest is reopening as UNDR.
Featuring an upgraded Martin Audio soundsystem and enhanced lighting, UNDR will officially open its doors tonight, Friday, September 7th. Located on Stoke Newington Road, it'll also be one of only a few spaces in Hackney with a 4 AM license. The club is set to open during the week as well as on weekends.
The venue's owner Mall Wells hopes to maintain the intimate feel of the original club, with some improvements. "I believe The Nest was always the best intimate experience in the capital," he told the Evening Standard. "We've now improved the core elements of that experience, namely the Martin Audio sound and lighting."
Throughout its opening season, UNDR plans to host nights across house, techno, drum & bass and UK garage, while highlighting a slew of UK DJs, crews and labels. To kick off things off, the Dalston team is linking up with The Lurkers for a party with Wookie, Kurupt FM's Decoy and Hutch, who will play a UK garage set. Over the next few months, expect to see Dogmatik Records boss Alex Arnout, DC10 regular Clive Henry, Zed Bias and Manchester collective Levelz.
