- The trance icon will play an invite-only event at the UNESCO heritage site in September.
Paul Oakenfold will DJ at Stonehenge in September, at a still unspecified date.
Only 50 guests will be invited to hear the set, which will be recorded and released under the title Live At Stonehenge. All proceeds will go to English Heritage, a charity that preserves historic sites across the country. It's the latest in a string of high-profile Oakenfold gigs in exotic locales, including Mount Everest and the Great Wall Of China.
"I am so lucky to be able to share my music from such an iconic site," says Oakenfold. "The energy there will be like nowhere else on earth, and this will be reflected in my music and performance."
