- Their debut Drift EP, co-released by Profound Lore and True Panther, is out now.
Mumdance and WIFE have a new metal-influenced project called Bliss Signal.
The duo make their debut today with the Drift EP, a co-release from True Panther and Profound Lore Recordings (a metal label home to Prurient that also handles some Hospital Productions releases). The press release says that they "strip down black metal's mechanical repetitive elements to their essence, refined to a sharp, singular and powerful metallic core swathed in expansive synths."
Though Drift is Bliss Signal's first release, the duo actually debuted at Unsound Festival last year in Poland, and have since played gigs around the world, including at Berghain in Berlin and MUTEK in Barcelona. The EP comes ahead of a full-length due out sometime soon.
