  • Dadub have a new 12-inch landing in September on the label arm of Tbilisi hotspot Bassiani. Rituals Of Resistance will be the first full Dadub release since 2013, and the first solo artist record for Bassiani's label, after a run of compilation EPs. Now a collaboration between Daniele Antezza, AKA Inner8, and Marco Donnarumma (who joined after Antezza parted ways with previous member Giovanni Conti), the Dadub project is known for an abstract, atmospheric style of electronic music. Antezza and Donnarumma are said to offer "their very own vision of techno politics" with two original tracks on the EP, which also features a remix from Bassiani resident Zesknel. To date, almost all of Dadub's original material has been put out through Lucy's Stroboscopic Artefacts, including their 2013 album You Are Eternity. Last month, the Bassiani club, which had previously grappled with a police raid and government investigation that threatened its survival, hosted one of Resident Advisor's 24/7 parties.
