- DâM-Funk will put out the second part in his house-leaning Architecture series next month, in conjunction with a European tour.
Spanish house label Saft has revealed a couple of notable 12-inches out before summer's end.
First up is an EP from Joan Bibiloni, the Spanish artist whose more experimental work was the subject of Music From Memory retrospective back in 2014. This EP focuses around the guitarist's most enduring dance floor track, "The Boogie," originally released on Bibiloni's own Blau label in 1986, and includes an extended edit as well as a 13-minute "Ultra Vires Dubtour" from DJ Sotofett.
That one comes out in August along with the return of Los Angeles mainstay DâM-Funk to the label. He'll follow-up his house-leaning 2016 for Saft, Architecture, with In The City (Architecture II), on which he continues to explore a four-on-the-floor take on his trademark synthfunk sound. DâM-Funk will handle the digital release on his own Glydezone imprint in early August, with the vinyl version to follow on Saft August 24th. The record coincides with his European Timeless Tour, which includes stops at Dekmantel Festival and clubs and festivals across Europe (full dates below).
The two forthcoming records follow 2018 Saft releases from Lerosa and Urulu.
