Red Bull Music Festival has announced the full programme for its 2018 edition in Berlin.
Running concurrently with the 20th edition of Red Bull Music Academy, which is also happening in Berlin, the month-long festival will take place from September 8th through October 12th. 23 events are on the schedule, spread across venues such as Funkhaus, Tresor, Musikbrauerei, Griessmuehle and Paloma Bar. In addition to established international guests, the programme will feature regular spots from the RBMA participants.
September highlights include the German premiere of Robert Henke and Marko Nikodijevic's new piece From Within, a techno party at Funkhaus featuring Nina Kraviz, Radio Slave and DJ Rush, and live shows from Jlin and Oneohtrix Point Never on 4DSOUND's spatial rig with MONOM.
October's programme is smaller yet no less action-packed. Dixon plays alongside RBMA participants at Ballhaus Rixdorf on the 2nd. On the 4th at UFO Velodrom, a 5,000-capacity space in Prenzlauer Berg, four TBA crews will face off in a Culture Clash. For one of two live interviews, celebrated US rapper Pusha T will stop by König Galerie on the 10th for a chat.
