  • Foodman has a new album, Aru Otoko No Densetsu, on the way. The Nagoya-based footwork abstractionist has linked up with Los Angeles artist Sun Araw, who will put out the 12-track full-length on his Drag City-affiliated Sun Ark label. "The generosity of Foodman's compositions comes prominently to the foreground, as well as their humor and poignancy," says the label. The vinyl version will come with an art book full of Foodman's drawings. Over the past couple years, Foodman, AKA ?????, has released music on a number of US-based labels, including Container's Plastic Bags, LA-based tape outlet postgeography and Mad Decent sub-label Good Enuff.
