- The first wave of artists includes DJ Nobu, Legowelt, Eris Drew and Buttechno.
Sustain-Release has made the first lineup announcement for its fifth annual New York gathering, going down September 13th through 16th at Camp Kennybrook.
The well-loved East Coast festival, thrown by Aurora Halal and a small team, will expand to three days this year, with Thursday's programming focused on ambient and experimental sets. Breaking Through star RAMZi will headline the sole stage for Thursday, situated by a campfire.
As usual, Friday and Saturday night programming goes down across two stages—a main room and a smaller stage under the banner of Bushwick's Bossa Nova Civic Club. DJ Nobu, Apeiron Crew cofounder Mama Snake, Legowelt and Discwoman up-and-comer Shyboi will play the main stage.
Recent RA podcasters Buttechno and Eris Drew have also been announced for the Bossa stage, along with Livity Sound artist Simo Cell. Saturday's pool party sees a six-hour back-to-back from leading US gay party crews Honey Soundsystem and Honcho.
Tickets are limited to 1000 distributed by a membership system, with priority given to previous attendees. The full lineup will be announced on July 19th.
