- The Swedish producer's latest endeavour is for live acts only, and its first showcase will take place at Freerotation this weekend.

Sebastian Mullaert is starting a new event series and label called Circle Of Live.
Circle Of Live will focus strictly on live acts, which is right on track for the Swedish techno producer, who is known for performing live on his own and as half of the defunct duo Minilogue. "The main intention with Circle Of Live," he says, "is to inspire people to improvise; let their life be an improvisation; a spontaneous expression of life."
The project's live aspect will present freeform solo and collaborative jam sessions, which will inform the label arm's output of EPs. There are already 11 gigs lined up around Europe through next February. Further details about the label are still TBA.
Circle Of Live will launch this weekend at UK festival Freerotation, where Mullaert will take over the Kith stage with help from Mathew Jonson, Dorisburg, Johanna Knutsson and Steevio & Suzybee. We're told the open-to-close session will feature Mullaert's live rig, "which can accommodate any number of participants performing all at once," and "the artists are encouraged to collaborate as much or as little as they like."
Other collaborators confirmed for Circle Of Live appearances include Âme, Tobias., The Mole, Aurora Halal, Neel, Leafar Legov, Eitan Reiter and Ljudbilden & Piloten.
