Two EPs featuring remixes of KiNK's 2017 album, Playground, are out next month.
Strahil Velchev's second full-length followed several appearances on Gerd Janson's Running Back, and the attendant remixes are spread across two 12-inches due on the label in July. Playground Remixes Vol. 1 features Dusky and a "disco dub" from Radio Slave. Vol. 2 has a "Matthew Herbert Funnel Dub" of "Yom Thorke" as well as a remix from Philly veteran Josh Wink.
July also sees Running Back reissue a 1996 record from one of Darshan Jesrani's pre-Metro Area projects, Acronym City. That one, "Powermoves," comes with a new "Gerd Janson Mayday Edit" of the title track.
This year has also seen Running Back release records from the likes of Krystal Klear, who scored an RA Recommends distinction for his EP The Division.
