  • Dorian Paic and Ricardo Villalobos, AKA DoRic, have remixed Sasse's 2005 hit "Soul Sounds" for a new reissue EP on raum...musik. "The story goes that Ricardo, Sonja and Zip started playing it again last year," Paic told Resident Advisor. "Then, at the birthday of a mutual friend, Sasse, Ricardo and myself came up with the idea of rereleasing it. Sasse actually never wanted to do anything with it, but he liked the idea of raum... putting it out. And then I suggested Ricardo as a remixer." The EP, which is out next week, features three tracks: the original version plus two remixes by DoRic. Both remixes were recorded in Villalobos's Berlin studio. "Soul Sounds" originally came out on the influential Finnish label Moodmusic. Listen to clips over at deejay.de. Listen to "Soul Sounds."
