  • Chromatics have quietly slipped out a new eight-track EP called Camera. The vinyl-only release comes via Italians Do It Better, and precedes the long-awaited Dear Tommy LP. The press release notes "the opening track is a love song written from the perspective of the camera, asking to be held up to see the world through the eyes of its user." There are two-unreleased songs on Camera, "Taste Of Blood" and "Flashback To Forever." The EP also includes alternate takes of the title track, which originally appeared on After Dark 2, as well as different versions of "Magazine" and "Dear Tommy." As usual, the record features vocals from Ruth Radelet and production by Johnny Jewel. The latter released an album called Themes For Television last month. Tracklist A1 Camera A2 Camera (Vocal) A3 Camera (Instrumental) A4 Magazine (Club Mix) B1 The Taste Of Blood B2 Flashback To Forever B3 Dear Tommy (On Film) B4 Magazine (Club Instrumental) Camera is out now via Italians Do It Better.
