- The Berlin producer looks back to tribal house, trance, breakbeat and bleep techno on the nine-track set.
Luca Lozano will release a nine-track double-EP called Boss Moves on Gerd Janson's Running Back later this month.
It's the prolific Berlin-based artist's first record of 2018, as well as his first for Running Back following releases for the likes of Crème Organization, Sex Tags UFO and, more often than not, his own Klasse Recordings label. Running Back says that Lozano, real name Lucas Hunter, "investigates the hybrid sound that once was embodied by groups like Future Sound Of London, labels like Guerilla and DJs such as Sasha or Dave Angel," on Boss Moves, exploring "tribal, trance, breakbeats, house, 303s, bleeps, rave, dubby deepness and pianos."
