Stefan Goldmann has a mini-album due on his Macro label this summer.
An Ardent Heart is his "most dancefloor-centered material in a decade," Macro says. As usual with Goldmann, there's a conceptual method that undergirds the material. This time he worked predominantly within a "vocalized" mode of synthesis that recreates speech patterns through "formant shaping, vowel filters and airstream perturbations." The 40 minute-long mini-album comes out in July.
