Oliver van der Lugt, AKA Air Max '97, is releasing his first album on June 1st.
Coming via van der Lugt's DECISIONS imprint, Nacre is the first full-length for both artist and label. It was recorded in Melbourne and Berlin and finished off in Mexico City, and is said to reflect the Australian artist's increasingly global life, bearing "traces of fleeting yet profound geographic and emotional immersions," according to the press release. The LP features both upbeat and downcast material from the experimental producer, and the label says it diverges from dance music more than any previous Air Max '97 material has in the past.
