Actress teams up with London Contemporary Orchestra on new album, LAGEOS

- The record is coming out in May, ahead of a live performance at London's Barbican.
- Actress's ongoing collaboration with London Contemporary Orchestra will continue with a new album, LAGEOS, arriving on May 25th. The LP, coming via Ninja Tune, follows 2017's Audio Track 5 EP. The labels says LCO "recorded the individual instrumental parts as stems," before Actress, real name Darren Cunningham, worked on the audio. LAGEOS includes LCO interpretations of Actress favourites like "Hubble" and "N.E.W." "In many ways the collaboration is about exploring an ambiguity of sound that sits between electronic and acoustic spaces, something that we're aiming to push further as part of the live shows," says LCO's Hugh Brunt.
