  • Relaxer's first full-length release comes out on April 13th via Laffs & Danger. A Family Disease comprises two ambient recordings that balance synthesis and audio collage. It's full of "dissonant chords, arguments, screams and warm new age-y pads," says Relaxer, AKA Daniel Martin-McCormick, the Brooklyn artist formerly known as Ital. It's his first album-length release as Relaxer, following a string of self-titled EPs he's put out via his own label. He officially dropped the name Ital last summer. Martin-McCormick also announced the fifth and final entry in the Relaxer 12-inch series. The six-track EP, which includes both ambient and dance floor-focused techno tracks, comes out on May 1st. Listen to "Side A" from A Family Disease.
