A new club called Mjut will open in Leipzig this April.
Located inside a former railway warehouse close to Leipzig's main train station, Mjut—pronounced "Mute"—has a capacity of 500. The upcoming party schedule is under wraps, but nights with Berceuse Heroique, Acido and Sued are confirmed, along with artists such as Burnt Friedman, Iron Curtis, Shlømo and Machine Woman. Only the opening, planned for Saturday, April 7th, is announced, but the lineup is TBA.
Mjut is run by a crew that includes sound technicians and local record store staff. It joins venues like Elipamanoke, Distillery and Institut fuer Zukunft (IfZ) as part of the Leipzig club scene.
