  • Steve Poindexter and Traxman have started up a new label, Factory Music Chicago. The label's first EP, Back To The Future, collects music from both producers, including an unheard collaboration between Poindexter and the late, legendary Armando Gallop. That cut, "911," bears some resemblance to other Chicago house productions like Eric Martin's "Emergency," a track Poindexter edited and released on the Muzique Records label he ran with Gallop. Also on the EP is a Traxman remix of another little-known Armando cut, "Snare Yo Azz Off." Check out Jacob Arnold's feature on Poindexter from a few years back. Listen to clips from Back To The Future before its release next month.
