Oliver Ho and Tommy Gillard have released a new album as Zov Zov.
Fata Morgana, released yesterday by Berceuse Heroique, is a drone- and percussion-led industrial and techno LP. Of its ten tracks, two—"Desert Burials - Cages" and "Desert Burials - Clonk"—are on a separate 7-inch, which Ho describes as containing "jammed percussion sounds, detuned guitar and vocals." The duo released their first album, The Sacred Pornography, last year. In June, Ho, as Broken English Club, released a notable LP, The English Beach, an industrial techno record inspired by Dungeness on the Kentish coast.
