L.I.E.S. is putting out a live album from Marquis Cooper, AKA Svengalisghost.
The LP, which L.I.E.S. hinted at earlier this year, was recorded direct from the soundboard during a live performance on French television in 2015. The label calls it Cooper's "darkest and most plodding recording to date... the definition of deconstructed death industrial," as well as describing it as "the sound of evil personified." It runs six tracks long and is out on November 24th. The label also says this is a "one time-only pressing... [that] will not see the light of day again."
Cooper is a core L.I.E.S. artist and was one of the earliest to join the roster, releasing his first record for Ron Morelli's label back in 2012. He also makes music with Morelli as Ghost-202 and with Voiski under the name Tropical Agitation.
L.I.E.S. just marked its 100th release with the debut album from Terekke.
