- The Freerotation resident will slip out an eight-track EP early next month.
Prolific UK producer Tom Ellis has more music on the way.
For his latest, The Colour Red, Ellis is back on Cabanne and neric's Minibar imprint, on which he released the Club Soda 12-inch back in 2008. The new one is a double 12-inch continuing with the deep, heady style he has quietly built a reputation on. The label says its eight tracks "brilliantly merge house, jazz, minimal techno, plus a touch of acid and ambient."
Ellis has released over 40 EPs over the years and dropped his sixth album, From The Cabin Above The Clouds, last year. He's best-known as part of the tight-knit crew of residents for Welsh festival Freerotation, and appeared on a V/A from its in-house label earlier this year alongside Surgeon, Steevio and Duckett.
