- The New Age-inspired tape, Inner Work, is out now via New Atlantis.
Allen Wootton, Deadboy just released an album under the name J.V. Lightbody.
Inner Work is the first full-length under this alias, and it comes via the New Atlantis label that Wootton started earlier this year. Described in the press release as a "synthesizer-driven exploration of the inner realms of consciousness, space and time," it takes the same New Age tack as the previous New Atlantis release.
The tracks are named after hexagrams from the ancient Chinese book I Ching, which the label calls "a source of wisdom and system of divination still widely used and relevant to life today."
The physical release is limited to 100 copies on cassette. Inner Work is Wootton's second full-length of the year, following his Earth Body LP as Deadboy on Local Action.
