  • Björk has revealed more details about her forthcoming album, Utopia. Though there's still no tracklist, the Icelandic artist has confirmed that the LP will span 14 songs. Arca, who co-produced the whole record, also has songwriting credits on five of the tracks, while Sarah Hopkins co-wrote one song and Rabit co-produced one track. In addition, Björk conducted and wrote the arrangement for a 12-piece Icelandic female flute ensemble. She also edited the album herself using ProTools. Acclaimed engineer Mandy Parnell, who's worked with Aphex Twin, The Prodigy and Nick Cave, mastered the LP. Utopia, which is out on November 24th via One Little Indian, will be available to buy using cryptocurrency, an untraceable digital currency that operates independently of a centralised bank. Bitcoin (BTC), Audiocoin (ADC), Litecoin (LTC) and Dashcoin (DASH) will all be accepted at Björk's online store. Watch the video for Utopia's first single, "The Gate," directed by Andrew Thomas Huang.
One Little Indian will release Utopia on November 24th, 2017.
