  • Andy Blake is reviving his World Unknown label with an EP featuring tunes from Flight Mode and Mo Reece. The label is returning after a four-year break with, Blake says, "a new improved big rig warehouse sound to reflect the recent changes and upgrades to the parties." In 2016 the World Unknown parties, which happen in and around South London, stopped taking place monthly, and these days Blake runs the event with Amy Alsop and a crew of friends. (World Unknown cofounder Joe Hart has moved on to focus on the Bodyhammer parties with Scott Fraser.) The new EP contains one track apiece from Flight Mode ("one of the older WU heads") and Mo Reece ("one of the new generation of kids from the WU dancefloor.") Clips of both tracks are streaming at deejay.de. Listen to Flight Mode's "Ancient Light."
