Japanese label Soundofspeed will release Kuniyuki & Friends: A Mix Out Session this month.
Over the years the Japanese producer has notched up some high-profile collaborations with the likes of Vakula, DJ Nature and DJ Sprinkles. The highlights of these sessions appear on the new collection, which comes along with a ringing endorsement from DJ Sprinkles (Terre Thaemlitz): "Kuniyuki is unquestionably one of the most important producers in Japan's underground house scene," he writes, "And—dare I say what the album title implies—also a true friend."
The CD set, which also features Jimpster and K15, follows a vinyl sampler that emerged back in June. This year also saw Kuniyuki release of an '80s inspired album for Mule Musiq, Newwave Project.
