  • Techno heavyweights Surgeon and Speedy J have announced a new live collaboration called Multiples. Surgeon, AKA Anthony Child, shared the news in a tweet earlier this week. We're told he met up with Electric Deluxe boss Speedy J, real name Jochem Paap, in Rotterdam, and the two producers spent their time together doing "little else but jamming in the studio." Now, the two artists say, "The plan is to do the exact same thing on stage... no creative limitations, just pure live improvisation!" The debut Multiples set will happen in Amsterdam at a Reaktor event at NDSM Scheepsbouwloods on Sunday, October 22nd, during ADE. Also on the lineup that night are a few other techno legends, Luke Slater, Function & Steve Bicknell, performing together as LSD, along with Tommy Four Seven, Dasha Rush and Artefakt.
