A forthcoming reissue of Model 500's classic track "No UFO's" will feature remixes from Moodymann and Luciano.
The double pack is coming out on Metroplex, the label that originally released the Juan Atkins-produced track in 1985. In addition to the remixes, the four-track EP will also feature the vocal and instrumental mixes from the original 12-inch. According to Atkins, who announced the new record via Facebook, it'll land in late October.
"No UFO's" has been repressed several times, but Moodymann and Luciano's contributions mark the first time it's been remixed by other artists. (An Atkins-produced alternate mix, "No UFO's (D-Mix)," emerged in '85.) Atkins' last release as Model 500 was 2015's Digital Solutions LP, which also came out on Metroplex.
