- Blackest Ever Black will release it in October.
A new EP from Carla dal Forno, is due out next month on Blackest Ever Black.
The Garden is described in a press release as signaling an "evolutionary leap" away from the lo-fi sound of dal Forno's debut LP, You Know What It's Like, released on Blackest Ever Black last fall. The Australian experimental pop artist crafted four tunes for the occasion. The title track is a tribute to Einstürzende Neubauten's 1996 song of the same name, and dal Forno's video for it, which you can watch below, appears inspired by the German experimental outfit's own video.
dal Forno has developed a strong connection with Blackest Ever Black. Besides her solo material, Kiran Sande's label has put out records from her Tarcar project with Tarquin Manek, and F ingers, a collaboration with Manek and Samuel Karmel. Awkwardly Blissing Out, that trio's second LP for Blackest Ever Black and fourth overall, is due out soon.
