  • Mancunian techno producer Cleric is launching a new label called PROJEKTS. The first release will be an EP from SP-X. Contours Of The Soul counts as the low-key Brussels-based artist's first release since his Moving Through Mirrors trilogy for Time To Express back in 2015. (Besides Peter Van Hoesen's imprint, he put out a string of 12-inches on Komisch.) His EP for PROJEKTS, which includes a Cleric remix, is due out in late September, and we're told he's also lining up some international touring, along with some more new music for next year. It will be the second solo label endeavor for Cleric. In early 2015 he started Clergy, which has been home to releases from artists like Wrong Assessment, Dax J and the label boss himself. He's also drawn notice as a fixture on Len Faki's Figure, while putting out a couple records with Reflec as Works Unit and appearing on Infrastructure New York's 2016 compilation Facticity. Listen to the forthcoming SP-X cut "Process Control."
