  • Ostgut Ton will host its first label showcase in the German city of Essen on Halloween. Ostgut Ton Nacht Essen will go down on October 31st at Mischanlage, a space within former coal mine complex and UNESCO World Heritage site Kokerei ZollVerein. A collaboration with Studio Essen, it'll be the only dance music-related event at the venue until 2019, taking place in a room "characterized by steel, concrete coal hoppers and pillars—a perfect equivalent to our Berlin home, Berghain / Panorama Bar," says the label. The lineup is still TBA. 2017 has been a busy year for the label—in addition to new albums from Nick Höppner and Tobias., there have been EPs by Vatican Shadow, Kobosil and Dettmann | Klock. Steffi's third full-length for the outlet is also on the way. Photo credit: Henri Vogt Photo | Baka Gaijin
